A World of Inspirational Environments!

Kid’s Island Nursery is a place where the seeds of curiosity are planted, relationships are grown and children bloom.
The calm, unhurried nature of our environments throughout the nursery provide children with opportunities to engage in play-based learning invitations, build relationships through interactions with others and develop at their own pace.

This is the core of what we call The Inspire Philosophy!

“Children should to be inspired to slow down, engage with their environment & immerse themselves into meaningful play.” - J.M & A.J

Natural elements, open-ended resources and loose parts enhance the indoor learning environments and ignite children’s imaginations.

Authentic resources and materials are carefully incorporated into our individually curated Home Base’s, Gym Room and Play Room that ignite a deeper level of interaction and engagement. In addition to this, indirect and warm-toned lighting add to our indoor spaces, helping to create an inviting and cozy space that feels like you’re stepping into your own living room.

We have worked diligently over 33 years to acquire resources from all over the globe that reflect our ethos by reusing pre-loved furniture and up-cycling what we can. All across the nursery, treasures can be found that encourage children to play in a holistic way, inspire their individual interests and relate to their personal experiences.

Challenging and enticing outdoor environments encourage children to engage in play invitations that push their physical boundaries and lead to the wondrous world of adventurous play.

Children need to have the freedom to run, balance, throw, jump, carry, pour and sort! In order to learn and absorb new information, we beed to give children the space, time and resources to do so!

The Mud Kitchen, Discovery Deck, Nature’s Kitchen, Learning Terrace, Marhaba Garden and Nature Zone offer endless hours of enjoyment for the children as they explore, discover and engage with their surroundings.

Loose parts and natural elements such as soil, leaves, seed pods and home-grown herbs and vegetables are blended seamlessly into the environments in order to enhance their learning experiences.
